IWC Aquatimer Deep Three
The attention to detail in the construction of this new edition of the Aquatimer is astounding. From the corrugated rubber strap that is flexible and can adjust itself to the changing girth of a person’s wrist underwater, to the highly-developed depth gauge, this timepiece is a diver’s dream. On the face of the dial, you see a blue depth indicator, which, during a dive, moves across the white scale with increasing or decreasing depth across the scale. With a few details such as the elapsed dive time, the maximum depth reached and the seconds hand, you can plot the course of a dive to perfection. On the other hand, the red indicator remains at the greatest depth attained in the course of the dive to a maximum of 50mts.

Part of the Heritage collection of the brand, this watch is from an edition of watches that come equipped with exclusive Longines movements that recall the very first chronograph wristwatches created by the brand. Also available in two other versions in rose gold, this piece is set in a steel case, 40mm in diameter. The very traditional blued steel hands make for a classic appeal, especially with the old-school lugs that attach the brown alligator leather strap to the watch. The fluted crown features the single push-piece of the chronograph, the 30-minute counter of which is seen at three o’clock on the dial. This watch offers a power reserve of 54 hours.
